RAFFLES AND STAGING

Today I'd like to show you these three lovely doll which were donated to the event by Jan Jillson from the USA.

They have been waiting patiently for quite a few months for their moment in the sun and are now getting excited that it's nearly time for them to meet their new mum's or dad's.

They all have hair issues but that means you get to make them up as you wish.

First up we have Minty Gregor who alas does have the falling hair! But he's still got plenty and no bald spots. He's waiting to collect his outfit from Judith of Dolly Doodles on the day.

Just look at that handsome minty face.

Then we have Blondie

Her hair is quite good just a few issues with the sticking up fringe.

I shall find a Hattie hat to try and hold it down. She will come in the new outfit shown.

then last but by no means least we have The Waif.

This girl does not have hair issues because she's not actually got any! So a perfect candidate for a re root or a wigged doll. She will come wearing the dress shown, to save her blushes.

She does have lovely blue eyes , so will make a great project.

So thank you to Jan Jillson once again for her incredibly generous of three dolls for the raffle.

Paul's been building the staging for the display.

He's spent all of the day on them.

They are three foot long by 18 inches high.

Here they are finished You can have them this way or

this way both ways give three rows for the dolls to stand on.

I will be selling three of these stands to recoup the costs of the wood used and therefore saving that cost coming out of the event costs. So if you are coming to the Chat n Snap and would like one of these and can take it home with you please let me know. They will be sold on a first come basis. They are priced at £25 each.

Also there will be the Sasha doll adoption table again this year, you can place up to three Sasha dolls on the table , with a tag with your name and the cost of the doll for a donation of £2 per doll. Anyone interested in buy a doll from the table will just need to find the seller and do the deal.
Please don't carry the doll around while you think about it as you may decide not to buy the doll and have then stopped someone else from purchasing it.

Also please remember to bring a cup or mug with you for your tea/coffee etc, saves on the washing up!

Only 12 more days......
